Pat Wright & The Total Experience Gospel Choir - and
other special guests are featured at the 11th
annual SING OUT!" honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Sat., Jan.
30 benefiting Helpline at Island Church. Highlights include: a 1 PM choir
workshop that creates the "2010 MLK Jr Memorial Choir" under Wright's
direction to sing the spirituals and traditional black-gospel-style choral
music that inspired Dr. King; a 5 PM savory soul food dinner; and a 7 PM
Concert. The public is welcome to join any or all of the day-long events.
Pat Wright invites you to join the choir, share musical history and sing!
No experience necessary: no sheet music to read. Ages 10 and older suggested
for the 1 to 5 PM workshop.
Master Chef Rudy Rimando and friends invite everyone to enjoy savory soul
food with musical entertainment between 5 and 7 PM. Everybody welcome.
Advance tickets by Wed., Jan. 27.
The day concludes with a spectacular concert at 7 PM!
This year's host is Island Church, 9624 Sportsman Club Rd., 1/8 mi. south of Hwy. 305 - Watch for signs.
